Dua'a Jaushan E Kabeer – Part 1

In the Name of Allah, the All-merciful, the All-compassionate	bis-mil-lahir-rah- manir-rahem	بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ
(1) O Allah, verily I beseech You in Your name: O Allah,	allahumma in-ne as-aluka bis-mika yal-lah	(1) اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْألُكَ بِاسْمِكَ يَا اللَّهُ
O Most Merciful, O Most Compassionate,	ya rah-mnu ya rahem	يَا رَحْمَنُ يَا رَحِيمُ
O Most Generous, O Self-Subsisting,	ya karemu ya muqem	يَا كَرِيمُ يَا مُقِيمُ
O Greatest, O Eternal,	ya `a¨emu ya qadem	يَا عَظِيمُ يَا قَدِيمُ
O All-Knowing, O Forbearing, O Wise	ya `alemu ya halemu ya hakem	يَا عَلِيمُ يَا حَلِيمُ يَا حَكِيمُ
Praise be to You, there is no god but You,	subhanaka ya la ilaha illa anta	سُبْحَانَكَ يَا لا إلَهَ إلاّ أنْتَ
[I beseech you for] relief, relief, relief	al-ghawth al-ghawth al-ghawth	الغَوْثَ الغَوْثَ الغَوْثَ
Protect us from the Fire, O Lord.	khallisna minan-nari ya rabb	خَلِّصْنا مِنَ النّارِ يا رَبِّ
(2) O Master of Masters,	ya say-yidas-sadat	(2) يَا سَيِّدَ السَّادَاتِ
O Acceptor of prayers	ya mujebad-da`awat	يَا مُجِيبَ الدَّعَوَاتِ
O Elevator of rank	ya rafia'd-darajat	يَا رَافِعَ الدَّرَجَاتِ
O Guardian of good deeds	ya wale-yal-hasanat	يَا وَلِيَّ الْحَسَنَاتِ
O Forgiver of evil deeds,	ya ghafiral-khate-at	يَا غَافِرَ الْخَطِيئَاتِ
O Granter of requests,	ya mua'-ti-yal-mas-alat	يَا مُعْطِيَ الْمَسْأَلاتِ
O Acceptor of repentance,	ya qabilat-taw-bat	يَا قَابِلَ التَّوْبَاتِ
O Hearer of voices,	ya samia'l-as-wat	يَا سَامِعَ الأَصْوَاتِ
O Knower of attributes,	ya `aalimal-khafe-yat	يَا عَالِمَ الْخَفِيَّاتِ
O Repeller of calamities.	ya dafia'l-bale-yat	يَا دَافِعَ الْبَلِيَّاتِ
Praise be to You, there is no god but You,	subhanaka ya la ilaha illa anta	سُبْحَانَكَ يَا لا إلَهَ إلاّ أنْتَ
[I beseech you for] relief, relief, relief	al-ghawth al-ghawth al-ghawth	الغَوْثَ الغَوْثَ الغَوْثَ
Protect us from the Fire, O Lord.	khallisna minan-nari ya rabb	خَلِّصْنا مِنَ النّارِ يا رَبِّ.
(3) O Best of forgivers,	ya khayral-ghafiren	(3) يَا خَيْرَ الْغافِرِينَ
O Best of deciders,	ya khayral-fatihen	يَا خَيْرَ الْفَاتِحِينَ
O Best of helpers	ya khayran-nasiren	يَا خَيْرَ النَّاصِرِينَ
O Best of rulers,	ya khayral-hakimen	يَا خَيْرَ الْحَاكِمِينَ
O Best of providers,	ya khayrar-raziqen	يَا خَيْرَ الرَّازِقِينَ
O Best of inheritors	ya khayral-warithen	يَا خَيْرَ الْوَارِثِينَ
O Best of praisers,	ya khayral-hamiden	يَا خَيْرَ الْحَامِدِينَ
O Best of rememberers	ya khayradh-dhakiren	يَا خَيْرَ الذَّاكِرِينَ
O Best of Dischargers,	ya khayral-munzilen	يَا خَيْرَ الْمُنْزِلِينَ
O Best of benefactors	ya khayral-muh-sinen	يَا خَيْرَ الْمُحْسِنِينَ
Praise be to You, there is no god but You	subhanaka ya la ilaha illa anta	سُبْحَانَكَ يَا لا إلَهَ إلاّ أنْتَ
[I beseech you for] relief, relief, relief	al-ghawth al-ghawth al-ghawth	الغَوْثَ الغَوْثَ الغَوْثَ
Protect us from the Fire, O Lord.	khallisna minan-nari ya rabb	خَلِّصْنا مِنَ النّارِ يا رَبِّ.
(4) O He, to Whom is all glory and virtue,	ya mal-lahul-i`iz-zatu wal-jamal	(4) يَا مَن لَّهُ الْعِزَّةُ وَالْجَمَالُ
O He, to Whom is all might and perfection,	ya mal-lahul-qud-ratu wal-kamal	يَا مَن لَّهُ الْقُدْرَةُ وَالْكَمَالُ
O He, to Whom is all dominion and sublimity,	ya mal-lahul-mul-ku wal-jalal	يَا مَن لَّهُ الْمُلْكُ وَالجَلاَلُ
O He, Who is great above all	ya man huwal-kaberul-muta`aal	يَا مَنْ هُوَ الْكَبِيرُ الْمُتَعَاِل
O He, Who creates heavy clouds,	ya mun-shias-sahabilth-thiqal	يَا مُنْشِئَ السَّحَابِ الثِّقَاِل
O He, Who is the most powerful,	ya man huwa shadedul-mihal	يَا مَنْ هُوَ شَدِيدُ الْمِحَاِل
O He, Who is quick to reckon,	ya man huwa sareu'l-hisab	يَا مَنْ هُوَ سَرِيعُ الْحِسَابِ
O He, Who metes out the severest punishment,	ya man huwa shadedul-i`iqab	يَا مَنْ هُوَ شَدِيدُ الْعِقَابِ
O He, with Whom is the excellent reward,	ya man i`indahu hus-nuth-thawab	يَا مَنْ عِنْدَهُ حُسْنُ الثَّوَابِ
O He, with Whom is the Original Book.	ya man i`indahu ummul-kitab	يَا مَنْ عِنْدَهُ أُمُّ الْكِتَابِ
Praise be to You, there is no god but You,	subhanaka ya la ilaha illa anta	سُبْحَانَكَ يَا لا إلَهَ إلاّ أنْتَ
[I beseech you for] relief, relief, relief	al-ghawth al-ghawth al-ghawth	الغَوْثَ الغَوْثَ الغَوْثَ
Protect us from the Fire, O Lord.	khallisna minan-nari ya rabb	خَلِّصْنا مِنَ النّارِ يا رَبِّ.
(5) O Allah, Verily I beseech You in Your name:	allahumma in-ne as-aluka bis-mika	(5) اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْألُكَ بِاسْمِكَ
O Charitable One, O Benefactor,	ya han-nanu ya man-nan	يَا حَنَّانُ يَا مَنَّانُ
O Judge, O Proof,	ya day-yanu ya bur-han	يَا دَيَّانُ يَا بُرْهَانُ
O Sovereign, O Approver	ya sul-tanu ya ri¨wan	يَا سُلْطَانُ يَا رِضْوَانُ
O Forgiver, O Elevated One, O Helper,	ya ghuf-ranu ya sub-hanu ya mus-ta`aan	يَا غُفْرَانُ يَا سُبْحَانُ يَا مُسْتَعَانُ
O Holder of blessings and manifestation.	ya dhal-man-ni wal-bayan	يَا ذَا الْمَنِّ وَالْبَيَانِ
Praise be to You, there is no god but You,	subhanaka ya la ilaha illa anta	سُبْحَانَكَ يَا لا إلَهَ إلاّ أنْتَ
[I beseech you for] relief, relief, relief	al-ghawth al-ghawth al-ghawth	الغَوْثَ الغَوْثَ الغَوْثَ
Protect us from the Fire, O Lord.	khallisna minan-nari ya rabb	خَلِّصْنا مِنَ النّارِ يا رَبِّ
(6) O He before Whose greatness everything bows,	ya man tawadha`a kul-lu shayil-li-a'¨amatihi	(6) يَا مَن تَوَاضَعَ كُلُّ شَيٍْء لِّعَظَمَتِهِ
O He before Whose power everything submits,	ya manis-taslama kul-lu shayil-li-qud-ratih	يَا مَنْ اسْتَسلَمَ كُلُّ شَيٍْء لِّقُدْرَتِهِ
O He before Whose might overshadows everything,	ya man dhal-la kul-lu shayil-li-i`iz-zatih	يَا مَن ذَلَّ كُلُّ شَيٍْء لِّعِزَّتِهِ
O He before Whose awesomeness everything is humbled,	ya man khadha`a kul-lu shayil-li-haybatih	يَا مَنْ خَضَعَ كُلُّ شَيٍْء لِّهَيْبَتِهِ
O He before Whose fearsomeness everything yields,	ya manin-qada kul-lu shayim-min khash-yatih	يَا مَنْ انْقَادَ كُلُّ شَيٍْء مِّنْ خَشْيَتِهِ
O He before Whose terribleness mountains shake	ya man tashaq-qaqatil-jibalu mim-makhafatih	يَا مَن تَشَقَّقَتِ الْجِبَالُ مِن مَّخَافَتِهِ
O He before Whose command the heavens are raised,	ya man qamatis-samawatu bi-am-rih	يَا مَن قَامَتِ السَّمَاوَاتُ بِأَمْرِهِ
O He through Whose permission in the earths are secured,	ya manis-taqar-ratil-aradhuna biidhnih	يَا مَنْ اسْتَقَرَّتِ الأَرَضُونَ بِإِذْنِهِ
O He Whose glory the thunder proclaims,	ya may-yusab-bihur-ra`a-du biham-dih	يَا مَن يُّسَبِّحُ الرَّعْدُ بِحَمْدِهِ
O He Who is never cruel to his subjects.	ya mal-la ya`tade `ala ah-li mam-lakatih	يَا مَن لا يَعْتَدِي عَلَى أَهْلِ مَمْلَكَتِهِ
Praise be to You, there is no god but You,	subhanaka ya la ilaha illa anta	سُبْحَانَكَ يَا لا إلَهَ إلاّ أنْتَ

Protect us from the Fire, O Lord.	khallisna minan-nari ya rabb	خَلِّصْنا مِنَ النّارِ يا رَبِّ
(7) O Forgiver of sins,	ya ghafiral-khataya	(7) يَا غَافِرَ الْخَطَايَا
O Dispeller of tribulations,	ya kashifal-balaya	يَا كَاشِفَ الْبَلاَيَا
O Aim of hopes,	ya mun-tahar-rajaya	يَا مُنْتَهَى الرَّجَايَا
O Giver of abundant gifts,	ya muj-zilal-a'taya	يَا مُجْزِلَ الْعَطَايَا
O Bestower of bounties	ya wahibal-hadaya	يَا وَاهِبَ الْهَدَايَا
O Provider of creatures,	ya raziqal-baraya	يَا رَازِقَ الْبَرَايَا
O Judge of destinies,	ya qadhiyal-manaya	يَا قَاضِي الْمَنَايَا
O Hearer of complaints	ya samia'ash-shakaya	يَا سَامِعَ الشَّكَايَا
O Resurrector of creatures,	ya bai`ithal-baraya	يَا بَاعِثَ الْبَرَايَا
O Freer of captives	ya mut-liqal-usara	يَا مُطْلِقَ الأُسَارَى
Praise be to You, there is no god but You,	subhanaka ya la ilaha illa anta	سُبْحَانَكَ يَا لا إلَهَ إلاّ أنْتَ
[I beseech you for] relief, relief, relief	al-ghawth al-ghawth al-ghawth	الغَوْثَ الغَوْثَ الغَوْثَ
Protect us from the Fire, O Lord.	khallisna minan-nari ya rabb	خَلِّصْنا مِنَ النّارِ يا رَبِّ
(8) O He, to Whom is due all praise and adoration,	ya dhal-ham-di wath-thana-i	(8) يَا ذَا الْحَمْدِ وَالثَّنَاءِ
O He, Who holds all pride and eminence,	ya dhal-fakh-ri wal-baha-i	يَا ذَا الْفَخْرِ وَالْبَهَاءِ
O He, Who holds all honour and rank,	ya dhal-maj-di was-sana-i	يَا ذَا الْمَجْدِ وَالسَّنَاءِ
O He, Who makes promises and honours them,	ya dhal-a'h-di wal-wafa-i	يَا ذَا الْعَهْدِ وَالْوَفَاءِ
O He, Who pardons and is content,	ya dhal-a'f-wi war-ridha	يَا ذَا الْعَفْوِ وَالرِّضَاءِ
O He, Who holds all abundance and provides	ya dhal-man-ni wal-a'ta-i	يَا ذَا الْمَنِّ وَالْعَطَاءِ
O He, Who holds decision and judgement,	ya dhal-fas-li wal-qadha-i	يَا ذَا الْفَصْلِ وَالْقَضَاءِ
O He, Who is glorious and eternal,	ya dhal-i`iz-zi wal-baqa	يَا ذَا الْعِزِّ وَالْبَقَاءِ
O He, Who is liberal and munificent,	ya dhal-judi was-sakha-i	يَا ذَا الْجُودِ وَالسَّخَاءِ
O He, Who holds all blessings and bounties,	ya dhal-a-la-i wan-na`a-ma-i	يَا ذَا الآلاءِ وَالنَّعْمَاءِ
Praise be to You, there is no god but You,	subhanaka ya la ilaha illa anta	سُبْحَانَكَ يَا لا إلَهَ إلاّ أنْتَ
[I beseech you for] relief, relief, relief	al-ghawth al-ghawth al-ghawth	الغَوْثَ الغَوْثَ الغَوْثَ
Protect us from the Fire, O Lord.	khallisna minan-nari ya rabb	خَلِّصْنا مِنَ النّارِ يا رَبِّ

O Preventer of misfortune, O Repeller of calamities.	ya maniu' ya dafiu'	يَا مَانِعُ يَا دَافِعُ
O Elevator of rank, O Fashioner,	ya rafiu' ya saniu'	يَا رَافِعُ يَا صَانِعُ
O Benefiter O Hearer,	ya nafiu' ya samiu'	يَا نَافِعُ يَا سَامِعُ
O Aggregator, O Intercessor	ya jamiu' ya shafiu'	يَا جَامِعُ يَا شَافِعُ
O Magnanimous, O Increaser.	ya wasiu' ya musiu'	يَا وَاسِعُ يَا مُوسِعُ
Praise be to You, there is no god but You,	subhanaka ya la ilaha illa anta	سُبْحَانَكَ يَا لا إلَهَ إلاّ أنْتَ
[I beseech you for] relief, relief, relief	al-ghawth al-ghawth al-ghawth	الغَوْثَ الغَوْثَ الغَوْثَ
Protect us from the Fire, O Lord.	khallisna minan-nari ya rabb	خَلِّصْنا مِنَ النّارِ يا رَبِّ
(10) O Fashioner of every fashioned thing	ya sania' kul-li ms-nui`in	(10) يَا صَانِعَ كُلِّ مصْنُوعٍ
O Creator of every created thing,	ya khaliqa kul-li makh-luq	يَّا خَاِلقَ كُلِّ مَخْلُوقٍ
O Provider for every needy thing,	ya raziqa kul-li marzuq	يَّا رَازِقَ كُلِّ مَرْزُوقٍ
O Sovereign over all subjects,	ya malika kul-li mam-luk	يَّا مَاِلكَ كُلِّ مَمْلُوكٍ
O Dispeller of every hardship,	ya kashifa kul-li mak-rub	يَّا كَاشِفَ كُلِّ مَكْرُوبٍ
O Comforter of every griever,	ya farija kul-li mahum	يَّا فَاِرجَ كُلِّ مَهْمُومٍ
O Merciful to every sufferer,	ya rahima kul-li mar-hum	يَّا رَاحِمَ كُلِّ مَرْحُومٍ
O Helper of everything forsaken,	ya nasira kul-li makh-dhul	يَّا نَاصِرَ كُلِّ مَخْذُولٍ
O Concealer of every blemished thing,	ya satira kul-li ma`a-yub	يَّا سَاتِرَ كُلِّ مَعْيُوبٍ
O Shelter for every exile.	ya mal-ja kul-li mat-rud	يَّا مَلْجَأَ كُلِّ مَطْرُودٍ
Praise be to You, there is no god but You,	subhanaka ya la ilaha illa anta	سُبْحَانَكَ يَا لا إلَهَ إلاّ أنْتَ
